I have been wanting to make homemade yogurt for years. This is the year of “I’ve always wanted to do this” (“this” is several things that will spill over into 2016, 17, 18 …. you get the picture). After watching several YouTube videos and reading several recipes, I decided to follow Erica Strauss’ instructions from Northwest Edible Life. Erica covers yogurt making, preserving food making soap, toothpaste, cheese and countless other topics in her new book “The Hands-On Home” just released from Sasquatch Books (I pre-ordered mine).

This will make 5 pint jars and taste fabulous!
